Wie alle LiFePO4 von BullTron ist auch die 170Ah Variante extrem klein und passt dadurch selbst in die kleinsten Sitzkonsolen wie z.B. dem VW Bus sowie in Schränke und Staufächern. Für die optimale Befestigung bringt die Batterie auch gleich Ihre eigene Halterung sowie eine Spanngurt mit. Die integrierte Heizung startet bei Temperaturen unter 0°C, wenn ein Ladestrom anliegt. Keine Entladung der Batterie durch die integrierte Heizung.

BullTron LifePO4 Batterien sind ein optimaler Bleibatterie-Ersatz mit allen Vorteilen von Lithium-Eisenphosphat-Batterien. Sie bieten eine Gewichtsreduzierung bis zu 80%, hohe Energiereserven und stabile Spannung auch bei extremen Belastungen. 
Die Batterien wurden speziell dafür entwickelt, ein optimales Verhältnis aus Größe, Gewicht, Leistung und Lebensdauer zu erreichen. Eine extrem lange Lebensdauer ist auch bei regelmäßig tiefer Entladung (4000 Zyklen bei 100% DOD/Entladungstiefe oder 7000 Zyklen bei 80% DOD/Entladungstiefe), dank neuster Lithium-Technologie garantiert und macht die BullTron® Batterien zur optimalen Versorgungsbatterie.

Die Batterie ist für 12V-48V Systeme geeignet.

Sicherste Lithium-Technologie (LiFePO4)

BullTron Batterien verwenden die Lithium-Eisenphosphat-Technologie (LiFePO4), die derzeit sicherste Lithium-Technologie am Markt. Alle Batterien bestehen aus leistungsfähigen und sehr langlebigen (LiFePo4) Zellen und einem integrierten Batterie-Management-System (BMS). Das BMS schützt permanent die einzelnen Zellen sowie die gesamte Batterie vor Über-/Unterspannung, Über-/Untertemperatur, Überlastung und Kurzschluss (automatische Abschaltung ohne Schaden). Ein vorzeitiger Ausfall der Batterie durch äußere Einflüsse oder falschen Gebrauch wird durch das BMS effektiv verhindert.

Just purchased my second of this watch as a replacement. The first lasted about four years of abuse before the straps started to crumble. No battery or other issues. It had survived Afghanistan, numerous field exercises, mud, sweat, rain, wind, etc. and was well worth the $35 I spent on it. It is easy to adjust the time and has a handy 2nd time feature if you're between two time zones frequently or jut want to know the time back home. Everything else is what one would expect from the Ironman series. Lightweight, good backlight (indiglo), not obnoxiously large, rugged, good chrono/timers/alarms.

Good Watch

I have an old 30 lap Ironman. This one is larger than my previous one and has more features. It took me a little while to fully figure out how the new "occasion" feature works, but I can honestly say that I will probably never use that feature. This is a good watch, but the old one is easier to read at an angle. I did not measure the angle that the other segments become visible enough to interfere with viewing the time, but I do know that it is less than my old one. I have to twist my wrist a little more to view the time than I did with the old one. My old one is over 10 years old and still keeps excellent time. I replaced the strap and battery a couple times. The plastic part on top of it broke off when I dropped it at the airport about a year ago. Eventually the whole top fell off. I glued a plastic piece on to replace the "start/split" button. The wife decided that my repair was too ugly to wear in public. I still wear the old one around the house just to bother her! Hopefully this new one will last as long. I may have to get a Velcro strap for this one. The plastic one looks better, but the Velcro type is more comfortable.

Good watch that can take a beating

I have owned a Timex IronMan watch for almost 2 decades now and this will only be the 4th one I’ve bought. I wear it every day, and I rarely take it off except when I shower, but that is just because I want to wash my wrist. I have had the pin that holds the clasp on come off once, but that was when I had my hand jammed down in an engine trying to remove a part and the watch got caught because I didn’t take it off first. The only thing I am not crazy about is the size of this watch. Being a creature of habit, I normally get the smaller Ironman, but I thought I’d try something different and I guess it will just take some getting used to. Overall I am very pleased with this watch.
