Viele der Tiere starben bei der Überanstrengung, das gab dem Wald sein Leben und seinen Namen: Bosque de Matasnos. 

Region

Ribera del Duero hat eine der bedeutendsten Entwicklungen der Weinbaugeschichte gemacht, vor 30 Jahren war Vega Sicilia mit seinen Top-Weinen ein Geheimtipp, heute produzieren etwas zwei Dutzend Weingüter die mithin besten Rotweine Spaniens. Die Tempranillo-Traube, hier Tinta del País genannt, dominiert mit einem Anteil von über 80 Prozent. Im Wald und im Weinanbaugebiet von Matasnos gibt es aber trotz 950 Höhenmetern normalerweise keinerlei Probleme mit Frost, da sie sich auf einer sehr luftigen und durch den Wald geschützten Hochebene befinden. 

Degustationsnotiz

Intensive und klare Farbe und ein betörender Duft nach verschiedenen roten und schwarzen Bieren, mit einem Hauch von Würze und Zitrus. Am Gaumen reife Kirschen und Walderdbeeren, ein Hauch von Mineralität und dunkler Schokolade. Schön lang präsent und im Finish Noten von Vanille, Leder und etwas Tabak.

This book is a good introduction about how to use story-telling techniques in PowerPoint presentations. There are some good ideas here that you won't find in technical manuals. If you don't know film techniques these will be eye-opening. But the book could have been much stronger if it were to push these concepts to the next level. I saw a PowerPoint presentation with Andy Goodman, who teaches more or less the same thing, and his presentation nailed these concepts more cleanly than this book does. But again, this book is definitely worth checking out if you haven't studied storytelling before.
