Eine umweltfreundliche Alternative für alle veganen Pferdefreunde und Pferdebesitzer, die gerne auf Leder verzichten möchten. Knapp zwei Jahre wurden die Produkte entwickelt und auf Herz und Niere geprüft, immer wieder verändert und angepasst. Daraus entstanden ist die vegane Kollektion "Cortica", bestehend aus einer Trense, Zügeln, Chaps und Stiefeletten.Die veganen Chaps "Cortica" sind an der Außenseite aus Kork und an der Innenseite aus Amara (synthetisches Wildleder), das für einen guten Halt am Sattel sorgt. Für einen tollen Tragekomfort sorgt das Textilfutter. Durch die Elasteinsätze passen sich die Chaps ideal Ihren Waden an und sorgen außerdem für eine einfache Handhabung beim Anziehen der Chaps. Der elegante Kontraststreifen an der Außenseite ist ein hübscher Hingucker und an allen Produkten aus der Kork-Reihe "Cortica" wiederzufinden.
Korkstoff - das vegane Leder
Nachhaltig & vegan
Kork ist als Rinde der Korkeiche ein nachwachsender, biologisch abbaubarer Rohstoff. Die Korkeiche kann über 300 Jahre alt werden und wird im Laufe ihres Lebens ca. alle 12 Jahre in Handarbeit geschält. Dies macht den Baum widerstandsfähiger und sorgt für langlebige Korkeichenwälder, die vor Bodenerosion schützen und eine vielfache Menge an CO2, im Vergleich zu anderen Bäumen, binden. Ein großer Teil der Korkeichen wächst in Portugal, wo sie ein sehr wichtiges Ökosystem für viele seltene Tiere darstellen.
Strapazierfähig & einzigartig
Korkstoff, oder auch Korkleder genannt, ist sehr reißfest sowie strapazierfähig und zudem noch wasserabweisend. Die Korkplatten der Rinde werden mit einem organischen Klebstoff zu größeren Platten verbunden und dünn geschnitten. Dann werden sie wie ein Puzzle aneinandergesetzt und auf ein Gewebeträgermaterial aufgebracht, versiegelt und können schließlich als Korkstoff weiter verarbeitet werden. Wie Leder ist auch jeder Korkstoff ein ganz besonderes Unikat.

Excellent Information on how to stay focused on our spiritual path!

I accidentally purchased this book. I intended to get the actual book instead of the study guide.
I did order the actual book and it is incredibly helpful!
As a person in recovery for codependency, I have struggled all of my life with being nice and respectful to everyone no matter how I was treated. It is exhausting, and created so much anxiety and uncertainty. The insight from this book, has shown me how to stay calm , deliberate and focused on my spiritual path.
In recovery, Step 3, we are invited to make a decision to turn our will and life over to the care of God. This book has shown me what has been missing in my recovery. I have allowed toxic people to distract, belittle, humiliate me all in the name of being a Christian, and tolerating everyone and their toxic behavior. Even people in the church! This information has validated my need to be mindful and be strong in my faith, as I live out Gods plan for my life. I have put people before God...yep. No one is more important to me than God. Now I can live my truth and be more effective in Gods will for my life.
It truly seems to be my healing journey of putting God first in my life. It is a decision that is at the core of my existence! Thank you Gary Thomas for addressing the concerns of evil on our path and to be resilient and follow only that still small voice and silence the loud, obnoxious voices of those who add nothing to our life. Life giving read for me!

Great Book, Life Lessons
Format: Paperback
We did this study with our small group. We all have similar backgrounds and this study was a great way for us to work through some of difficult relationships . We learned how to support one another and how to draw healthy, biblical boundaries within the difficult relationships in our lives.
I’ve done other Gary Thomas studies before, and once again he writing does not disappoint . His teaching is easy to follow, steeped in scripture, and full of life application.

A must read for Adult Survivors of childhood Emotional abuse
Format: Paperback
A definite must read especially if you have difficult family relationships. My childhood was very unhappy and confusing as I had a mother who is a borderline. My father, who seemed to be the anchor of reason in our family, recently passed causing some very difficult and seemingly unreasonable discussions. My mother was all over the place emotionally, causing me as an adult many sleepless nights from her verbal vomits. This book really gave me renewed courage and strength to find and hold my ground and feel right about setting boundaries for myself. As a survivor of a borderline, it is very difficult to have good healthy relationships with your own children because even years after you’ve left home and have your own family, those words “I hate you, I wish you’d never been born” can still come to haunt you and cause you to doubt yourself. I gave a copy of this book to my sisters. One read it, and both she and her husband devoured it. It really has helped us to separate ourselves from some of the family crazy, and be more Christ centered and ministry focused. Our mother was quite good at throwing “bible” at us and using it rather inappropriately to fit her agendas, always causing us to doubt our effectiveness in ministering your other individuals.

Most Helpful Book. Taught me a lot about myself too.
