Das R2850DB begeistert mit seinen Klangeigenschaften und ist dank dualer Stereoeingänge, seinem optischen und koaxialen Eingängen sowie Bluetooth (Version 5.1) vielseitig einsetzbar. Das große 3-Wege Regallautsprecher-System aus der Edifier Studio-Serie erzeugt mit seinen 150 Watt RMS Ausgangsleistung eindrucksvolle und räumliche Klangergebnisse. Die Lautsprecher verfügen über frontseitige Bassreflexkanäle, die für druckvolle und präzise Bässe sorgen und auch wandnahe Aufstellungen ermöglichen. Das Soundsystem kann aufgrund des integrierten Verstärkers direkt mit allen Stereoquellen, wie beispielsweise TV oder PC, verbunden werden. Über Bluetooth (Version 5.1) können bequem die Lieblings-Playlists von Spotify & Co. direkt vom iPhone oder Android-Smartphone oder iPad / Tablet abgespielt werden. Die Lautsprecher sind in Echtholzgehäusen (MDF) untergebracht, was zu deutlich verbesserten Resonanzeigenschaften führt und somit zu den exzellenten Klangeigenschaften des 2.0-Systems beiträgt. Seitlich am aktiven Lautsprecher befinden sich die Bedienelemente. Über drei Drehregler können Bassintensität, Höhen und die Lautstärke präzise auf das gewünschte Niveau eingestellt werden. Darüber hinaus lässt sich über die Infrarot-Fernbedienung bequem aus der Ferne die Lautstärke einstellen, das System stumm- oder ausschalten, das Bluetooth ein- oder ausschalten sowie die Audioquelle wählen.
