Wie die Künstlerin arbeitete, lebte und liebte, was sie beeinflusste, wird den Leserinnen und Lesern anschaulich erzählt: von den großen naturwissenschaftlichen Umwälzungen über die Familiengeschichte bis hin zu Anthroposophie und spiritistischen Séancen. In der Darstellung ihrer ungewöhnlichen spirituellen Erfahrungen schöpft der Autor aus af Klints fantastischem Bilderkosmos. Julia Voss, die 2020 die erste umfangreiche Biografie der Künstlerin vorlegte, war in die Entstehung dieser Graphic Novel eng eingebunden. So verbinden und ergänzen sich in diesen herrlichen Bildwelten Biografie, Kunstgeschichte und zeitgenössischer Erzählstil.

Die Wiederentdeckung von HILMA AF KLINT (1862–1944) gilt als eine der größten Sensationen in der Kunst der letzten Jahre. In internationalen Ausstellungen wurde ihr Werk gefeiert, seitdem erhält sie endlich eine gebührende Würdigung als bahnbrechende Künstlerin und Vorreiterin der Abstraktion.

PHILIPP DEINES (*1980) ist Zeichner und Künstler. Er hat einen Kunst-Offspace betrieben, designt Poster für Technoclubs, entwirft Mode und stellt seine Arbeiten im Kunstkontext aus. 2021 verlegte er sein Studio temporär ins Berliner Auktionshaus Grisebach. Dies ist seine erste Graphic Novel.
