Das Makita DMR106B Baustellenradio ist mit einem 2++ Bluetooth Empfang ausgestattet und besitzt eine Reichweite von 10m und bei entsprechender Umgebung sogar bis zu 20m. Durch die flexible Antenne ist stets ein guter Empfang garantiert. Für eine lange Lebensdauer sorgt der Kantenschutz aus Gummi, welcher selbst einen Sturz aus 1m Höhe abfängt. Des Weiteren ist das Radio ausgestattet mit zwei 89mm großen Lautsprechern, einem AUX-In Anschluss für externe Musikquellen und einem USB Anschluss zum Laden von Mobiltelefonen. Durch die Nutzung von verschiedenen kompatiblen Akkus, ist auch eine Kabellose Nutzung des Radios möglich.
