Die Makita DTW 190 überzeugt mit robuster Konstruktion und starkem, 4-poligem Gleichstrommotor. Die Maschine ist mit Elektronikschalter und Motorbremse ausgerüstet, zusätzlich ist eine LED verbaut, welche den Arbeitsbereich bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen gut ausleuchten kann. Der Handgriff ist mit einer Gummieinlage versehen, welche sicheren Halt und komfortables Arbeiten ermöglicht. Der Makita BL 1840 B 18 Volt Li-Ion Akku mit 4 Ah überzeugt mit hoher Ausdauer bei geringer Grösse. Zudem besitzt der BL 1840 B noch eine LED - Ladestandanzeige zum Überprüfen der Restenergie im Akku. Das Makita MAKPAC-System bietet die beste Voraussetzung, um Ihr Werkzeug und Zubehör stets griffbereit und sicher zu lagern. Die Koffer lassen sich zudem bequem stapeln, festklicken und einfach transportieren. Mit dem Schnellladegerät DC 18RC von Makita lässt sich jeder der mitgelieferten 4 Ah Akkus in ca. 36 min aufladen.

I have read many, many books about the Camino de Santiago and this is by far the best. It is so clearly written that I felt myself walking along with John Pearson. His description of every aspect of the Way is accurate and wonderful to read. I only walked the last 100 km, but feel now like I walked the whole way and enjoyed it without the blisters! If I were younger, I would definitely walk the entire way but am so glad John wrote his experience so that I at least can imagine what it was like. Thank you for the Most Excellent Book!

By the third day of reading John's experiences on the Camino, I realized how much I was looking forward to reading another chapter or two after dinner with my family. After reading his chapter entitled "The Whale in the Room," I was so moved that I shared what I'd read with my wife, Cathy and son, Alex and told them how blessed I was to have them safe and near me. What a magnificent allegory of life that the Camino de Santiago is for so many peregrinos! Thank you John for letting me walk nearly 500 miles in your Merrell Moab "moccasins!" My husband and I are planning on walking the last 62 miles of the Camino. We are not going to be "real" pilgrims so I wanted to read books that would help me understand the experience. John Pearson did a good job of taking the reader along on his pilgrimage. But as a female who remembers how distasteful it was for old men to notice her, I couldn't understand the purpose of the descriptions of the physical appearance of the women he met. For readers wanting a taste of the journey, what did it add to include the description of a tattoo on the edge of a woman's breast and how many men were looking at it. So much of the book was thoughtful and deep and then all of a sudden there was a description of a woman as an object. Men looking at women is not news so it felt odd that the author added that detail throughout the book. If you are not bothered by the author's need to share his observation of women and how much wine he drank, it is an otherwise worthy telling of one man's epic journey on the Camino.
