* Kai Kristiansen (* 1929) ist ein dänischer Möbeldesigner. 1947 beendete seine Lehre zum Schreiner. Dann besuchte er bis 1951 die Möbelschule an der Königlich Dänischen Kunstakademie inKopenhagen. Nachdem er als Wandergeselle bei verschiedenen Meistern gelernt hatte, eröffnete Kristiansen 1955 seine eigene Designwerkstatt. Er entwarf unter anderem für die Schou Andersen Møbelfabrik, Magnus Olsen, Fritz Hansen und die Vildbjerg Møbelfabrik. 1956-1965 veranstaltete er eine Möbelmesse, um einen Austausch zwischen dänischen Designern anzuregen, und war später Mitorganisator der skandinavischen Möbelmesse (Skandinavisk Møbelmesse).
