Dies wird in der Kollektion Ceramic Containers deutlich sichtbar. Das Originalmodell dieses Behälters wurde von Girard selbst aus Holz an der Drehbank in seinem Atelier gedreht. Die Formen erinnern an traditionelle Apothekergläser, Spielsteine oder sogar die Werkzeuge von Hutmachern. Auf Basis dieser Modelle entwickelte Vitra diese elegant geformten Keramikbehälter, bei denen das natürliche Material ihnen ein handgefertigtes Aussehen verleiht.
