Im Lande der Mythen, Legenden und Göttergeschichten, der oralen Literaturtradition und der »Bollywood«-Unterhaltungsindustrie nimmt die Erzählung einen wichtigen Platz ein. Zeitgenössische Künstler und besonders auch viele Künstlerinnen nehmen es als ihre Aufgabe wahr, den sozial Benachteiligten oder den ethnischen/religiösen Minoritäten eine Stimme zu verleihen, deren Geschichte mit den Mitteln der Malerei, Fotografie, Video, Installation oder Performance zu erzählen. Ihre Arbeiten reflektieren die gewaltigen wirtschaftlichen, politischen und gesellschaftlichen Veränderungen in diesem Land über die letzten drei Jahrzehnte. Die Publikation präsentiert spannende und singuläre Werke, die das Potenzial besitzen, den Betrachter sehr direkt zu berühren und kritische Gesellschaftsfragen aufzuwerfen. They serve the purpose

These corner shelves are just what I wanted to hold our modem and router on one and a small lamp on the upper. The little ledge makes me feel confident that the devices won't easily be knocked off accidentally. My husband, a retired contractor, installed them so they are level.
They are made of pressed board with a laminate veneer of some sort. The laminate arrived damaged on one of the shelves, but I wanted to use two of them right away so a dab of paint will cover the damage if it's placed in an inconspicuous spot.

Sleek look & strong hold.
Excellent shelves! We like the sleek look of the wood/metal contrast of the hardware.
The product arrived in great condition and came with easy to install pieces. Instructions were easy to follow.
After installation they have held up extremely well.
Great to display anything you like that fits and even sturdy enough to hold a 10lb cat. ( No, he is not allowed up there but the shelf he jumps on always holds.)
