Die Tintenzufuhr funktioniert genauso wie beim Original, mit einem Tropfer. Die Schönheit dieses schwarzen Emperor-Füllfederhalters wird durch die Verwendung von ölfreiem Lack für die Abschlussbeschichtung und eine Poliertechnik namens "Roiro Urushi Shiage (Abschluss mit ölfreiem Lack)" vertieft, bei der der Rohlack nach dem Polieren mit einer speziellen Kohle mehrmals gerieben wird.
