Mit seinen Concetti spaziali befreite er sich seit den 1950er Jahren mit radikalem Gestus vom traditionellen Tafelbild. Jedoch hat der 1899 in Argentinien als Kind italienischer Einwanderer geborene Künstler ein formal ausgesprochen vielfältiges Werk in erstaunlich unterschiedlichen stilistischen Ausprägungen hinterlassen: unter anderem Plastiken aus Zement, Bronze oder Eisen, innovative Neon-Licht-Skulpturen, verschiedenste keramische Arbeiten, Sgraffito-Tafeln, fein erfasste Aktskizzen, Entwürfe für Bühnenbilder, Mode sowie Architektur. Einen Teil dieses »unbekannten Fontana«, mehr als fünfzig großformatige, figurative Zeichnungen, stellt die Monografie bekannten Werken des Künstlers zur Seite. Zudem wird eine Rekonstruktion seiner berühmten Rauminstallation Ambiente spaziale realisiert, die auf der 4. documenta in Kassel 1968 für Furore sorgte. Damit wird auch Fontanas Bedeutung als einer der einflussreichsten Vordenker neuerer Kunstströmungen in Europa und Südamerika verdeutlicht. A great book for a fan of the early final fantasy series.

I love this book!
I grew up with the NES and this brought back a lot of memories of how as a kid I would get lost in the creativity of what developers of these games made with only some blocks.
I love pixel art and this book is great if you enjoy making your own and admiring the work of someone else's and seeing their imagination from some truly great games.
This book is small in size but is perfect size to show blown up images of final fantasy pixel characters and creatures, also of places from the games.
Also having final fantasy characters from beyond the Nintendo/SNES was a really cool surprise to see if they had been made in that era.

All around helpful---worth the money!
Format: Paperback
This guide has been most helpful for all the folks I help prepare for the iTEP test! It gives insight into what each section of the test is looking for along with examples and great tips about actually TAKING the test. In the Writing and Speaking sections, it also gives sample scores and comments from the Master Grader which is very helpful too.

Comprehensive, clear and coherent!

The iTEP Practice Guide combines a no-nonsense approach to the specific iTEP tests and at the same time offers exercises that task the student with what they need to know. Exercises not only serve the purpose of scoring well, but the overall approach is communicative competence. We use the text in our group and one-to-one classes with very positive--and lasting--results.
