Der GRAND PRIX PRO von CAVOE ist der i-Size Kindersitz, den du ganz einfach zusammenklappen kannst. Das spart sehr viel Platz, vor allem im Kofferraum. Du kannst ihn aber auch zusammenklappen, während der Autositz auf der Rückbank im Fahrzeug an der Isofixhalterung angedockt ist.
Der GRAND PRIX PRO ist geeignet für Kinder von 100 bis 150 cm Körpergröße, was in etwas einem Körpergewicht von 15 bis 36 Kg entsprechend der Norm ECE R129 i-Size entspricht.
Aktuell sind in der EU drei Kindersitz-Normen parallel gültig: ECE R 44/03, ECE R 44/04 sowie ECE R 129. Die i-Size-Norm ist Teil der neuesten Prüfnorm ECE R 129, oder amtlich: „EU-Sicherheitsverordnung für Kinderrückhaltesysteme UN/ECE-Regelung 129“. Diese im Juli 2013 in Kraft getretene Verordnung stellt härtere Anforderungen an die Zulassung von Kindersitzen als die bisherigen Normen.
Neu ist, dass die Kindersitzklassen fortan nach Körpergröße eingeteilt werden, nicht mehr wie bisher nach Körpergewicht. Zudem müssen Babys in Sitzen mit i-Size-Zulassung bis zum Alter von 15 Monaten zwingend rückwärts fahren. Mit diesen Neuerungen soll verhindert werden, dass Kinder zu früh auf die nächstgrößere Kindersitzklasse wechseln. Die neue Norm erhöht den technischen Sicherheitsstandard für Kindersitze und schreibt einen Seitenaufprallschutz zwingend vor.
Der GRAND PRIX PRO verfügt zudem über einen 2-fach verstellbaren Neigungswinkel, der Rückenlehne, so dass der Sitz besser an die Rückbank des Fahrzeugs angepasst werden kann.
Der GRAND PRIX PRO lässt sich blitzschnell an an die im Fahrzeug vormontierte Halterung andocken. Ein grünes Kontrolllämpchen signalisiert dir, dass der Autositz korrekt eingebaut ist.

Great for my hot rod!

Perfect oil for my hot rod! Add a bottle of zinc and you get great low temp flow as well as good heat protection. As a 0W it flows quickly for good start up protection and the 40W means I get good protection as temps rise. My car has a flat tappet hydraulic cam so I add a bottle of zinc. Has worked great!

Yes, I know what the label says. “European Car Formula.”
Yes, I put it in a 2002 Subaru WRX bugeye with an EJ257 block and EJ205 heads.
And yes—this oil absolutely slaps.
This engine is not stock, not delicate, and definitely not living an easy life. It sees spirited driving, boost, and the occasional questionable decision. After switching to Mobil 1 0W-40, cold starts are smoother, oil pressure is rock solid, and the motor just feels happier. No weird noises, no drama, no oil consumption surprises.
The viscosity is perfect for a performance Subaru build, especially if you’re running tighter tolerances or want strong protection under heat and load. It’s thick enough when hot, flows great when cold, and inspires confidence every time I turn the key.
Is it technically “European”? Sure.
Does my Subaru care? Not even a little.
If you’re running a built engine, turbo setup, or just want a proven, high-quality oil that punches above its weight, this stuff earns its reputation. My bugeye may not be European, but it’s living its best life on this oil.
Would absolutely buy again—passport not required.
