Der Schweizer Heilpädagogik-Kongress hat zum fünften Mal im September 2007 in Bern zum Thema 'Übergänge' stattgefunden. Übergänge finden im Bildungssystem laufend statt: vom Eintritt in die Volksschule bis zum Übergang ins Erwerbsleben, von einem Schultyp zu einem andern. Übergänge prägen den Lebenslauf jedes Einzelnen und fordern auch Bildungsinstitutionen und Politik. Übergänge stehen aktuell ebenfalls an durch den Rückzug der IV aus der Sonderschulung (als Folge der NFA). Wie werden Übergänge organisiert und bewältigt? Welche Bedingungen sind notwendig? Die Hauptreferierenden des Kongresses (Johannes Gruntz-Stoll, Philippe Meirieu, Olga Manfredi, Ines Schlienger und Fredi Büchel) geben Antworten auf die Fragestellung. Le 5ème Congrès suisse de pédagogie spécialisée, dont le thème portait sur les transitions, a eu lieu en septembre 2007 à Berne. Les systèmes éducatifs sont jalonnés par de nombreuses transitions: l’entrée à l’école obligatoire, le passage d’un type d’école à un autre ou à la vie professionnelle. Les transitions marquent la vie de chaque personne, et constituent des étapes auxquelles les instituts de formation et le monde politique doivent rester attentifs. Le retrait de l’AI de l’enseignement spécialisé (une conséquence de la RPT) engendre également des transitions très importantes actuellement. Comment organiser et maîtriser les transitions? Quelles sont les conditions nécessaires pour y arriver? Les conférencières et les conférenciers principaux du Congrès (Johannes Gruntz-Stoll, Philippe Meirieu, Olga Manfredi, Ines Schlienger et Fredi Büchel) répondent à ces questions.

Awesome, portable room divider for larger rooms

I chose this room divider to use in my son's room that also serves as my home office! It is 72" x 72" in size, so it truly blocks out the other side of the room for optimal privacy. Once it's assembled, it's mildly sturdy - as long as you can bet both ends with the "feet" in line with the ground. I wish that the framework poles had more of an interlocking system so that the divider was easier to erect. I assembled this on carpet, so I had some issues getting the divider to stop moving. It takes a lot of work to set up, as it is massive, so definitely have someone help you. I would suggest adding weights of some sort to the feet of this divider to keep it from shifting. I ended up leaning mine against a bookcase shelf so it wouldn't lean. All and all, this is a great product if you are looking to make a room multipurpose.
