The Marcy Olympic Hex Trap Bar/Shrug Bar with Raised Handles, HTB-6976, is perfect for deadlifts, shrugging, Farmers Walk/Farmers Carry, and pulling. The hexagonal frame is a classic design preferred by many who use trap bars. The unique shape helps keep the weights centrally balanced. The standard pull height handles provide ample space to adjust your grip. When the standard pull height handles are being used, the raised height handles make it easier to load/unload weight plates. If you rotate the bar, you can use the raised height handles, instead.

The HTB-6976 weighs 30 lbs., is compatible with 2" diameter hole Olympic plates, and has an 8-inch long Olympic Sleeve. The maximum total weight for this shrug bar is 800 lbs. Use the included Olympic spring clips to ensure your weights are secured when in use.

Comfortable and Ergonomic Handles

The standard pull height handles provide a comfortable grip for building strong back leg and shoulder muscles through deadlifts and shrugs. Simply flip the bar when there are no weights on it to use the raised height handles instead.

Sleeves

The 8-inch sleeve is compatible with 2-inch diameter Olympic plates. When the raised height handles are facing the floor, you can more easily load and unload weight plates.

Spring Clips and 800 Pound Capacity

The Marcy Olympic Hex Trap Bar/Shrug Bar has a weight plate capacity of 800 lbs. Secure those weight plates with the included Olympic Spring Clips.
