PROFILE
Enter the ARM FMIC intercooler, a component designed to take the hot air from the turbo and cool it before returning it to the engine by putting it in the most optimal position.
Unlike OEM-style intercoolers, this is a true front mount design where the intercooler is placed first in line of airflow at the front of the radiator stack equipped on the 2.0T engine.
This design positions the intercooler directly in the opening of the GLI front bumper where it is exposed to the coolest air for the biggest gains in horsepower. This is not a twincooler type of setup, rather this FMIC does away with the OEM intercooler entirely. The OEM intercooler can be left in place disconnected, or completely removed with our OEM Intercooler Delete Kit. Removing of the OEM intercooler allows for increased airflow through the radiator bundle, allowing for improved cooling for your coolant, oil and transmission fluid.

CONSTRUCTION
Generally the larger an intercooler is the better it is at lowering the temperature of the charged air from the turbo before it reached the throttle body. However, if an intercooler is too large, it can cause an adverse pressure drop, increasing turbo lag. Because the ARM Intercooler is located in front of the other radiators on the car it can cool the charged air more effectively than larger intercoolers in the OEM location. Which is why the ARM Motorsports FMIC core size of 23.5" x 6.5" x 3" is the perfect balance for maximizing cooling efficiency while minimizing pressure drop.The ARM Motorsports MK6 GTI Front Mount Intercooler Kit is fully reversible, making it a true bolt on unit. Well these tablets taste intensely sweet. There is no possiblity that any of the orginal flavor might be detected. They chew with vigours crunching noises. The directions don't say anything about taking it with food but I think it was faintly better with food than an empty stomach. On the whole the experience was like eating candy.
But you gotta be careful about how they work. Like any fiber you need to get used to taking it and in the interim you will experience gas and bloating. It's been ten days since I started and the gas hasn't gone away. The tablets seem to take about 24-48 hours before I could perceive any effect.
I don't perceive ANY softening of the stools. They seem to be as hardened as ever no matter how much water I drink before, during or after. . However the amazing amounts of gas produced propels the pellets out as if from an air gun. You should not allow any adolescents anywhere near you. You will instantly aquire a neighborhood wide reputation for setting the longest fart record *ever*. The gases do coincide with the number of intervals between doses so pellets are expelled with projectile force at regular intervals during the day. While the results may seem unimpressive apparently they add up and I no longer experience blockages.
5 stars normally but extra stars because your kids will regard you with new respect.
