Why You’ll Love It

  • Indigenous to South Africa, perfectly adapted to Cape Town’s climate.
  • Striking green leaves with red margins add year-round interest.
  • Orange-red bell flowers in summer attract birds and pollinators.
  • Extremely drought tolerant and easy to grow.
  • Ideal for rockeries, borders, and containers.

Plant & Care

Plant in sandy, well-draining soil and position in full sun or semi-shade. Water sparingly, especially in winter, as the plant stores moisture in its fleshy leaves. Remove spent flower stalks to encourage neat growth. Prune lightly if plants become leggy, and protect from excessive frost.

Did You Know?

The name “Pig’s Ear” comes from the rounded, fleshy leaves that resemble the shape of a pig’s ear. In traditional Cape gardens, this plant has long been valued for its resilience and ornamental appeal.

Great Buy
Size: 24 inch 100Hz
I needed an monitor for my work office and I am glad I got it. It suits the job. The screen is nice and bright, clear, and runs smooth. It is easy to set up but I wish it could swivel around and had some height too it. Overall, It was a good buy for the 24 inch screen. I would definitely buy it again. The sound quality is great,no issues so far with the monitor at all.

Works as it should
Size: 24 inch 100Hz
I started a new job a few months ago and I get to work from home one day a week. They do not pay for you to set up a home office however, so I was looking for a cheap monitor for part of my set up. I came across this one and decided to try it out. I work in client service for a finance company so a lot of what I use it for is email, other conversational programs, and then our custodian software. I’m not doing anything crazy. I have it connected to a name brand laptop and it was very easy to set up with no issues. It turned right on. The picture quality is nice. Again, I’m not doing editing or anything on this so it works for what I need. It does NOT have speakers, so I do need to use the speakers on my laptop( which can be annoying), but again it’s not a deal breaker. I have been using it now for 5 months and it’s been working really well for my set up. I am thinking of getting a second monitor and I would get another of these but also I do want a speaker so I don’t know that I would get this exact version. For the price, if you are looking for something basic for normal work from home needs, this does the trick!
