The aged white/silver distressed finish with reddish underlayer gives it a French/Italian antique look. Marked “Made in Italy” near the bulb fitting. This style is inspired by classical urns and 18th/19th-century European decorative forms, but the lamp itself looks more like a late 20th-century decorative Italian or Italian-style piece, probably 1980s–2000s, rather than an antique. The finish appears intentionally distressed, not just naturally worn, which was very popular in Italian export decor and French country interiors.
