StinkOps RVAP - a Tippmann M98 Rear Velocity Adjuster (RVA) with integrated shoulder stock clamp.

We've always wondered why this part doesn't already exist: an RVA that lets you continue to use your existing or aftermarket M98 shoulder stock. Since it just didn't exist, we finally decided to produce them ourselves, and offer them as the next product in our Deadlywind StinkOps line.

The StinkOps RVAP serves multiple purposes, so you can buy it for any of these reasons and get all the other benefits for free:
1) It is an RVA.
2) It allows you to continue using your M98 shoulder stock, strap plug, etc. (no other RVA allows this.)
3) Allows fast mount and removal of your M98 shoulder stock (or tail/strap plug, etc.) to your Tippmann M98 marker without having to split the entire body in half!
4) It removes ALL "slop" between the shoulder stock and the body. Because of our unique clamping method, it is more rigid than if you had your shoulder stock mounted directly into the body.

More info on RVA's, aka "since the M98 already has a velocity adjuster screw, why would I need a Rear Velocity Adjuster?":
- On a Tippmann marker, an RVA adds a way to adjust the hammer spring pressure to dial in your desired velocity. Many guns use this method to adjust velocity, such as the Autococker, Spyder, and most other spring/hammer style markers. Tippmann is one of the only companies that does not use this type of velocity adjustment.

- Using an RVA instead of the side velocity adjustment screw on your Tippmann is advantageous because the side velocity screw actually blocks airflow to the paintball, thus wasting air power and decreasing efficiency. When you use an RVA, you can back the side velocity screw out farther and use the RVA to adjust velocity instead. This not only gives better gas efficiency (and more shots per tank), but also reduces kick due to the reduced hammer spring pressure. In addition, the reduced spring pressure makes the trigger easier to pull, and even makes the marker easier on paint.

And now the technical stuff:

-Dust black anodized 6061 aluminum
-Includes all necessary screws
-Requires 3/32" Allen wrench for initial install, and a 5/32" Allen wrench for the clamping strap and velocity adjustment.
-Moves your shoulder stock back by 0.75", and is ACT compatible.

Better than Honda Cabin Filter for Allergies -
Size: 8.3" x 9.3" x 1.3"
Installation took all of 3 minutes. Noticeable improvement in air quality (less allergy response) since installation. Others mentioned a reduction in air flow but have not noticed a change. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Update (9/2020) Noticeable reduction in air flow. I have needed to increase the fan speed to make the cabin comfortable. I may be switching brands soon. I will pull the filter at 6 weeks and see if it is getting plugged (yikes). //////////// Update (10/2020) I pulled the Bosch filter expecting it to be plugged due to the lack of air flow. I was surprised to see it was clean. There were are few small pieces of stuff in the folds of the filter but only about 10 of them. I held the filter up to the light and then tapped it on white paper to see what would fall out. There was nothing present to explain the extreme loss of air flow. I have used Bosch cabin filters in my other vehicles (not HEPA) with great success. I was hoping to help the allergies of my family but having to run the fan on high to receive any airflow was more annoying than helpful. The noise was irritating and the air flow was still less than the Honda filter I removed. I purchased a new Honda cabin filter and our van is back to normal. I did not realize how much I missed the auto temperature setting. I was setting the temperature about 5 degrees below "normal" to try and keep the temperature consistent, and it was not during the hotter summer months. Unfortunately I am beyond the 30 day Amazon return window so I am not able to return the cabin air filter. :-( This is my first Amazon review that moved from 5 to 1.....

Reliable part
The price of this item was a bit of a shock. A good one though. I gave it to my mechanic, he installed it with no problems. Runs just fine. Would buy again
