A grand and beautifully crafted early 1900's oak display cabinet, manufactured by Southern California Hardwood & MFG Co. This substantial piece balances architectural presence with thoughtful, functional design—making it equally suited for kitchens, dining rooms, libraries, or retail display. The top does seperate from the base for easier transport.
The upper section features original glass doors that open to reveal fully removable and adjustable shelves, offering flexible storage and display for ceramics, books, or collected objects. At the center, an open niche adds visual interest and a practical serving or display space. The interior is finished in vertical beadboard, lending depth and warmth to the overall composition.
Below, the cabinet is grounded by a series of sliding lower doors, a streamlined and space-efficient detail that provides generous concealed storage. The oak showcases rich grain variation and a warm, time-softened finish, with honest wear throughout that speaks to decades of use and craftsmanship.
