What can the Nomad 5 charge?
Solar panels do not hold a charge, they produce power when exposed to sunlight. For the best charging experience, pair with a Flip 12 power bank to keep devices charged on the go. Simply plug the Flip into the panel's built-in charging dock to charge the battery from sun while hiking, biking, or on the move. Then, use the Flip to charge your phone when the sun goes down. The Nomad 5 is great for charging things like:

What's the difference between the Nomads and other solar panels?
Nomads are the most portable solar panel option. They’re extremely packable and are significantly lighter weight than their Boulder counterparts. Our Nomad line spans from 5W to 200W, and includes our small Nomad Solar Chargers designed for backpacking all the way up to our large Nomad Solar Panels made for rigging up alongside your RV.
Are the Nomad Solar Panels waterproof?
Yes. The Nomads are able to withstand the elements, but the larger Nomad panels are housed within a protective fabric enclosure that will wear faster if left outside permanently, unlike the Boulders. What you’re recharging from the Nomads is what needs to stay dry, so keep those power banks and power stations covered up and protected from the dust, rain, and snow.
Can I chain my Nomads?
The Nomad 5 and Nomad 10 solar panels are not chainable. The Nomad 20 and 50 can be chained using the 8mm chaining input port on the back of the panel up to 150W. When chaining Nomad 50s (over 150W) or Nomad 100s we recommend using the 8mm to HPP Combiner Cable. To chain multiple Nomad Solar Panels together with HPP connections, you’ll need to purchase the 4x High Power Port Combiner to High Power Port Connector (SKU 98061) from Goal Zero.

For serious coffee connoisseurs
I got this coffee canister because I know that my coffee connoisseur, son will be staying at our home for a few months this spring. He invests in very good quality coffee beans and grinds his portions as needed. I know that this glass vacuum type jar will do the trick in keeping the beans fresh so that the oils don't dry out. My husband and I use a flip top hinged canister for our more regular grind and the speed at which my husband drinks coffee means that it's usually quite fresh without the vacuum additional feature. I would caution that it took a hot minute to figure out how it work and wasn't easy to get open the first time outta the blocks. Read the instructions so you get familiar with home the air is extracted and how to release the pressure to open the canister.

Not what I expected
For the price, I thought this was a real air release coffee jar. The kind you can use a vacuum sealer on that really gets out all of the air. This is one of the press pump types. For most, this would be efficient, but I make espresso and need the freshest beans. I roast myself and need them to maintain their freshness and this doesn’t quite do it for me.

Thin glass but good container
My biggest worry with this container is that it is such thin glass. I fear if I were to hit it the wrong way or it even fell a foot it would shatter. The seal is very good though and holds my coffee beans. It is easy to open and seal. I have no issues with it and it does what it is intended for other than it being a bit thin.

I needed a secure container for my flour and this works perfect
I have a unique problem I have dart frogs and because I have dart frogs I have to raise flies unfortunately, the fruit flies really love flower, and I’m having a hard time getting a container that seals and keeps everything out because normally a bay leaf is good enough to keep whatever out of your flower but not not this so I got this container and it’s amazing it seals so nice and tight. You can literally pressurize it to keep your flower completely safe from silly things like fruit flies
I know this is unusual, but if you’re looking for a container that really seals this one’s fantastic. I love that it’s glass. I love that you can actually pump the top to pressurize it and then you hit the other button to release the pressure. I will say it is kind of hard to pull the lid off so definitely go slow.
