Tiffen Graduated filters give you the control you need to create a scene as opposed to just shooting a�scene. Coral filters are general purpose warming filters�that come in increasing amounts of color temperature correction as the number in the series increases. They are commonly used to produce slightly "orangey" skies.

This filter�has its value when you want to�change a washed out sunrise or sunset into something special. The level of "punch" that is added by a coral filter can turn a run-of-the-mill landscape shot into a memorable moment.�As opposed to traditional warming filters, corals are mood enhancers. Coral filters come in grades with the higher�numbers having a stronger effect.��

With graduated filters, often it is necessary or desirable to balance the light intensity in one part of a scene with another. This is especially true in situations where you don't have total light control, as in bright contrasty landscapes. Sometimes it is also desirable to add color to part of the photograph. For example, to add�orange to only the sky. Tiffen Color Graduated filters are half-color, half-clear, with a graduated transition for blending into the scene.
