As big fans of the so-called "brownface" Fender® amplifiers of the early 60s (1960-1963), we have long been thinking of producing an enhancing device to re-create the key features that make those legendary amps so unique. We also wanted to be able to capture that sound with the minimum amount of controls. And so, the BLOSSOM POINT was born!
The Blossom Point emulates the special "fat effect" that is obtained by pushing the tubes and the volume of a brownface Fender® Showman® just before distortion. It finds that "sweet spot" (that Dick Dale was calling the "blossom point") of maximum tube compression that changes the entire sound - from its power to the sustain of the guitar and the reverb. The Blossom Point is perfect for the gigging artist who appreciates that sound or is used to playing through one of those old amplifiers. As we know, for live shows and touring, you can be presented with different backline amps and traveling lighter and avoiding bringing a brownface amplifier on the road is always a plus. It saves you money and your back! With the Blossom Point you are secure in knowing you can get the sound you need from any amplifier, even the coldest ones, with affordable ease and portability.
INPUT (signal level attenuator)
Some guitars have very hot pickups and the signal level can bring to distortion the compression stage of the circuit. Use this control to lower the input volume just enough to suit the sound.
OUTPUT (boost)
Use this control to increase the signal level from zero to +6db. The "unity gain" is around middle position, so you can also use the pedal as a little boost. The reason why we included a boost is because the effect is TRUE BYPASS, so this control would help in case there is a difference in volume with the effect on or off.
PRESENCE
One of the ways that brownface amps are unique is the adjustable "presence" control, which later became the "bright" switch when the blackface series came out in 1964. This control gently increases the high and mid-range frequencies allowing the sound to be wider, fuller and crispier, while shaping the tone in a very particular way.
The Blossom Point works at 9V (also with internal optional battery).

Excellent Warranty Coverage – Fast, Fair, and Hassle-Free
I purchased the ASURION 3-Year Portable Electronic Accident Protection Plan ($500–$599.99) for an Android 13 8.8” touchscreen stereo installed in my BMW (CCC system). After about two years of normal use, the Android stereo stopped working completely.
I filed a claim through Asurion’s website, and the process was straightforward. Initially, Asurion asked me to remove the unit and prepare it for return, advising that they would email me a prepaid shipping label. I de-installed the stereo from my car and packed it up as instructed.
After two days passed without receiving the shipping label, I was about to follow up—when I received an email notifying me that Asurion had issued a full refund of $459.00. I did not have to ship the unit back.
That level of service exceeded my expectations. The claim was handled quickly, communication was clear, and the resolution was fair and hassle-free.
I purchase an Asurion protection plan with every high-dollar item I buy on Amazon. I’ve had to file a three claims over the years, and each time the experience has reinforced that this coverage is well worth the cost. When something fails outside the manufacturer’s warranty, it’s a relief knowing Asurion stands behind the product.
Highly recommended for expensive electronics.

PROTECTION WITH ABSOLUTE EMPATHY & RESPECT
Had an issue with a product I purchased over a year ago along with an Asurion protection plan. Thank God I chose this extended plan. I was waiting for a return ticket you get it repaired and Asurion sent me a full refund. I am so grateful for Asurion and I encourage everyone to get these plans and get the added protection on products NOT made as they once were. We as buyers are terribly taken advantage of with the garbage sent to us that we pay very very high costs of. Asurion has NEVER failed me and the customer service reps are extraordinary and kind and very very respectful.

Dishonest Company
Purchased a Halowview BT7 RV Backup Camera along with the Haloview BTC 129 RV Side Cameras for a little over $550 in September of 2022. Due to a couple of poor reviews on this manufacturer I opted to purchase the 3-year $500-$599 extended warranty for both items at checkout. One of the side cameras went out and when I contacted Asurion they advised me that it was not covered under the warranty that I purchased. They said they will only cover one item at a time on an Amazon order and I was only covered for the $339.57 Backup camera on the order. I tried to point out that I would not purchase a warranty for $500-$599 on something valued at only $339.57. Asurion tried to blame it on Amazon and advised that their terms clearly state they only cover one item per invoice and that I had no warranty on the second item. When questioned about how a consumer is supposed to know this information, they advised that I should have read all their terms on their website. They refused to repair or replace the defective item even after confirming that the policy value was for $500-$599. Total waste of money!
