The MPMXPROC4US XPRO Monopod+ from Manfrotto is a versatile carbon fiber support designed for use with DSLR, mirrorless, compact, and video cameras.
A handy tool for nearly any visual artist, professional, or content creator, a monopod can often travel places tripods cannot, providing additional stability and supporting heavy equipment when required. The MPMXPROC4US features a 4-section design which, when paired with its carbon fiber construction, results in an easy-to-transport design weighing just 1.3 lb. With a maximum height of 64.8" and a minimum height of just 20.5", the MPMXPROC4US can be adjusted to suit users of varying heights and for various different tasks.
While the design of a monopod is relatively simple the Manfrotto Monopod+ line utilizes some innovative features which make using the MPMXPROC4US fast and easy. The primary feature of the line is the inclusion of Manfrotto's patented Power-Lock flip locks which snap open and closed to ensure fast operation and a tight, unyielding lock. The D-shaped leg sections have been designed not only to compliment the Power-Locks but also to prevent unwanted twisting between leg sections and increase the stability of the monopod.
Additionally, the Monopod+ line also features Manfrotto's standard rubber leg warmer for an improved grip and an adjustable hand strap for extra security. A 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting thread is placed at the top of the monopod in the center of the baseplate, allowing users to either, direct mount a camera or lens, or use an articulating head if required.UPC: 719821412380 - Manfrotto XPRO Fluid Base
The XPRO Fluid Base from Manfrotto is a FLUIDTECH-cartridge-equipped panning base designed to convert many of Manfrotto's photo monopods into video supports.
The base is constructed of a durable trio of materials consisting of aluminum, steel, and rubber, which support professional use while restricting its weight to a negligible 15.8 oz. The center of the base consists of a 1/4"-20 attachment thread that is designed specifically to connect to the bottom section of select Manfrotto monopods. This thread is directly connected to a "3D" fluid cartridge that facilitates smooth pans and tilts from a single axis. The cartridge may be locked vertically to isolate movement to only the 360° panning axis, allowing for smooth, level, uninterrupted rotation. While engaging the vertical lock may allow the monopod to stand, it does not support free-standing function and should not be left unattended when not in use.
The three feet which extend from the center of the base feature a simple folding mechanism that allows them to retract up and around the base when not in use. This design allows the base to remain compact and portable while still attached to the monopod and allows for easy travel and storage of your gear.- Compatibility
