The Go Blu uses a Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.1 chip that supports all the latest hi-fi formats like aptX® Adaptive, aptX HD, LDAC, and more. That means you can enjoy your music in the highest possible resolution, with no wires required. The built-in noise-canceling microphone allows you to take calls and access voice assistants as well.
The Go Blu's sound is powered by three discrete chips, rather than a single multi-purpose chip. This allows it to achieve higher-fidelity sound than most other DACs. The digital-to-analog converter chip is paired with a custom digital filter, while the headphone amplifier chip is laid out in a dual-mono configuration and uses a Direct Drive design concept. The amp stage outputs up to 5.6 volts, which is nearly double the power of most portable DACs.
The Go blu also provides several connection options. You can connect via Bluetooth or use the USB-C port as a wired input for non-Bluetooth sources. The USB-C port supports sample rates up to 24-bit/96kHz PCM. There is a balanced 4.4mm Pentaconn output for compatible headphones and a standard unbalanced 3.5mm headphone output.
