A fine example of the great Aussie blend, from Barossa Ranges fruit (a 60% 40% blend). Made from handpicked fruit from an excellent vintage, naturally fermented in open 500 litre vats with daily hand plunging, it then spent a year maturing in aged French hogsheads. Inky purple in colour, the nose has focus but still offers some oomph and punch, but always nicely kept in check and well balanced. Notes of chocolate, mocha, tobacco leaf, leather, licorice and coffee beans. The palate is seamless and exhibits a delightful touch of freshness throughout. The finish lingers nicely. Full of flavour, the wine has an unexpected lightness, which really appeals. So much to like here. Five to eight years, likely more, ahead of it.

Robert Parker Wine Advocate

Redolent of sage, black pepper, cassis and blueberries, the 2019 Tin Lids Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon features some lifted, minty notes as well as hints of cedar and vanilla. It’s full-bodied, concentrated and expansive on the palate, marked by supple tannins and a long, palate-staining and licorice-tinged finish. Big and bold, it’s not for lovers of restraint or subtlety.

Viticulture & Winemaking

2019 was one of the driest growing seasons we’ve experienced. Extremely low rainfall through the season with higher-than-average temperatures in January and February and continuing very warm weather through March, April resulting in the lowest-yielding Barossa harvest of the past decade. Despite the challenges of the dry season, most importantly the quality of fruit is exceptional.

The 2019 fruit was handpicked. Naturally fermented in open 500L vats with gentle hand plunging each day. The wine has been matured in used French oak Hogsheads for 12 months.

Food Pairing

A perfect pairing for this shiraz cabernet sauvignon blend is a BBQ – spiced sausages and lamb chops or char grilled spatchcock.

Awesome, portable room divider for larger rooms
Color: Black, Color: Black
I chose this room divider to use in my son's room that also serves as my home office! It is 72" x 72" in size, so it truly blocks out the other side of the room for optimal privacy. Once it's assembled, it's mildly sturdy - as long as you can bet both ends with the "feet" in line with the ground. I wish that the framework poles had more of an interlocking system so that the divider was easier to erect. I assembled this on carpet, so I had some issues getting the divider to stop moving. It takes a lot of work to set up, as it is massive, so definitely have someone help you. I would suggest adding weights of some sort to the feet of this divider to keep it from shifting. I ended up leaning mine against a bookcase shelf so it wouldn't lean. All and all, this is a great product if you are looking to make a room multipurpose.

As described
Color: Black
Light weight, easy to put together and you can disconnect the ends and just roll the whole thing nice and tight for quick out of the way storage. Pretty sturdy, doesn't fall over if you bump into it, you could use it outside but if there's a lot of light you can see through a tiny bit if you're really close but I only tested this indoors so not sure about patio types
