Making use of updated parameters in the UCI design rules, the OSTRO VAM Seatpost has a super slender 15 mm profile, after extensive virtual and wind tunnel testing. The optimized shape works with the rest of the frame to deal efficiently with the chaotic airflow coming off the rider’s pedaling legs.
Relocating the Shimano Di2 battery housing from the seatpost to the seat tube made it possible to make the seatpost so slim. It also means that it is no longer necessary to remove the seapost when you want to access your Di2 battery. The repositioning of the pusher-type seatpost clamp to the back of the seat tube also improves the very secure fixation with a low torque closure. This will reduce the chance of damage from over tightening while still ensuring a solid hold.
The OSTRO VAM Seatpost enhances the essential aero performance of the second generation OSTRO VAM.
