The long fingers of afternoon Autumn sun lit up the path along Kaoota's Tramway Track, creating this bewitching little scene.

This painting was created on-site (en plein air), whilst out hiking with my dog. The way the light came through the trees and lit up the path in a patterns of shadowed stripes made it an appealing composition to paint.

Medium: Unless otherwise stated, all of my paintings have been created with artists-quality oil paints on pre-primed/gessoed panel. They are finished with artists' quality retouch varnish.

Every painting is hand-signed, and comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity. A letter of provenance outlining its life from inspiration to purchase is also included with each piece.

Frames: My paintings are framed in raw Tasmanian oak float frames that have a shadow line between the painting and the frame edge. All frames come ready-to-hang, with D-Hooks and wire on the reverse side. Paintings are 6cm / 2 inches wider and taller when framed.
