Uses an internal rechargeable battery for 40 hours continuous use from an 8 hour charge and can be used directly from the mains adaptor power supply. Simple to use, the Seca Hoist Weigher is used in nursing homes, private homes and hospitals and is a Class III approved medical scale. Maximum weight capacity is 200kg with accuracy of 100g with Class III approval.

Seca HW941 Patient Hoist Weigher. Easy to operate, attach the patients sling to the hoist weigher and tare the reading off, remove and place the patient in the sling and attach to the hoist weigher and lift using the hoist for an accurate reading of the patients weight and BMI. Hospitals and care homes should weigh patients on admission and on a regular basis. The use of approved weighing equipment is a vital part monitoring weight loss and identifying patients who may be suffering from poor health or malnutrition. Patients with a low level of mobility, bed bound or disabled may need to be weighed using a scale which is attached to a hoist.
