WITHOUT any fishing - no first letter pump - NOTHING, you immediately are able to divine the word. The concept used here is different from other book tests on the market. It's dead simple, easy to learn, and easy to perform. There's no complicated procedure to remember, either, so you can keep it on a shelf at home and do it whenever anyone asks you to do something "impromptu." For theater work, the hangman presentation, in which you play a psychic game of hangman, translates beautifully to a huge stage.
The book itself is casual and unassuming, and looks just like any mass paperback you might be reading at the time.
When we look at book tests, we judge them based on just one aspect: how realistically does it simulate mindreading? If there is an unnatural procedure ("count to the third word on the fifth line"), it's out. If there is something that leads back to the method, ("Tell me what the first word is..."), it's out. But in Words Beyond a Book Test, the impression you leave the audience with is one of PURE mindreading.

Fit and color are spot on
Love the shirt and the material is great! It washes and iron well. The fit was perfect on my husband and he really liked it as well. We will definitely be ordering more colors. We got the blue color and it is just as pictured. Love the strip also it really adds to the look.

Shirt Without Buttons

I bought about seven of these shirts. They are soft and very comfortable to wear. However, it appears to be a major quality control issue with these shirts, regardless of the color. The buttons keep falling off the shirt on their own. Even when I wash them in the washing machine, on delicate. And the most frustrating thing about the whole ordeal, I have no extra buttons to replace those that fell off. I have shirts that I have had for years, and the buttons are still on the shirts. What's more, they each have extra buttons, one small and one regular size. I guess since the shirt is made in China, they make money by using low quality thread and not putting any replacement buttons. You be the judge, to buy or not to buy, if you can deal with the buttons coming off and nothing to replace them with. The choice is yours.
