This is a big, brooding, complex, and down right delicious red wine. Made from 100% Sagrantino grapes, one of the world's most full-bodied grapes, it takes the very best growing conditions and a true expert winemaker to craft this into something special. The 2008 Sangrantino di Montefalco Riserva 'Il Domenico' from Adanti is and intense ruby red with hues of garnet. It boasts a powerful and broad powerful aromatic range, from stewing blackcurrants, to freshly picked blackberries, from smoky tobacco leaf, to drying coffee beans, and from hot graphite to forest undergrowth. An explosion of flavour on the palate, made perfectly balanced by the elegant acidic profile of the wine. It's big, yes, but lifted and charming at the same time, never chewy or overblown, with a balanced, velvety finish.

Adanti is a small, family run winery, based in the heart of the renowned Montefalco growing area in Umbria, south of Rome. Here is the only place in the world that they manage to tame the notorious Sagrantino grape and weave it into something beautiful. Sisters Daniele and Dontella Adanti lead the winery, and under their watchful eye, Adanti has grown to be considered one of the finest producers of Montefalco wines in existence. The grapes for the Sagrantino Riserva Il Domenico are a top selection of grapes grown exclusively in a vineyard on the hills of Colcimino, the oldest vineyard in the region of Bevagna, situated at 350 m above sea level. After fermentation, the wine spends at least 30 months in large oak casks and it has been in bottle for the best part of 10 years, developing, softening, and evolvling into the wonder it is today.

The slow cookers soul mate, this would pair brilliantly with a slow cooked beef stew on a cold winter's evening....yes please!

Well written and thought-out approach to change DoD acquisition
Format: Hardcover
I'm a Navy acquisition manager and former Navy officer. I very strongly recommend this book as required reading for Pentagon (especially flag officers and SESs), congressional staffs, defense contractors and those who would be defense contractors, Silicon Valley companies, and everyone who cares about the future of the United States. The author expertly characterizes the current world situation and the issues with DoD acquisition practices. He is not brutal about it, but fair. He explains the background and history behind how we got to where we are, and identifies a path forward. I believe that following the approach recommended is very hard, but very worth while. The author worked for Senator McCain for almost ten years, and it is clear that this book benefits from his experience. My only gripe (and it is a minor one) is that very occasionally the author allows his feelings about Trump to manifest in a negative way. This is often justified, but it shouldn't be so one-sided. Nevertheless, this book is must-read, and deserves five stars.

Very Educational
Format: Paperback
I enjoyed the book. I wish the average American would take more of an interest in these kinds of issues facing the U S in the China sea region of the world.

Should be mandatory reading for police academies and be in every cops' patrol bag
This book should be mandatory reading for police academies and be in every cops' patrol bag for quick reference. I am a police officer (8+ years) and stay on top of search and seizure case law as much as possible. This book is easy to read and gets the essential information on everything that has to do with police search and seizure. The topics are easy to find, and all are no more than 1-2 pages. Every sections cites the appropriate case law and offers tips for articulating PC for that type of incident.
