At the heart of this kit is our proven bar-and-plate intercooler, originally developed for the 6.0L Powerstroke and now expertly repurposed for 7.3L applications. We've paired this intercooler with custom-designed Mishimoto silicone boots featuring DuraCore technology to ensure a perfect fit on your 7.3L. The result is a comprehensive package that lowers air charge temperatures, reduces EGTs, and supports reliable performance at any power level. -- The intercooler itself features a significant increase in core volume over stock, durable cast aluminum end tanks, and an efficient bar-and-plate core design that reduces pressure drop while delivering cooler, denser air to your engine. The kit includes mandrel-bent aluminum piping available in polished or wrinkle-black powder-coated finishes, along with Mishimoto DuraCore silicone boots and constant-tension T-bolt clamps for secure, consistent holding power. DuraCore technology provides superior resistance to heat, pressure, fuel, and oil compared to standard silicone, effectively preventing leaks and blowouts while extending service life. -- Installation is straightforward with everything included: custom mounting spacers to properly secure the intercooler, additional hardware for a complete installation, and all necessary components for the conversion. I tried these because the reviewer's pictures look like these would work. I will assume the integrity of the reviewer and their word that the grills in the pictures are legitimately this brand grills. Which means something terrible happened to the manufactures molds from the time the reviewer got theirs to the time I received mine. I ordered the correct ones for my pre-facelift model and the quality looked promising however the top edge was inset about a 1/4 inch from the OEM one and they wiggled around to the point that there was NO CHANCE of them staying in on the way out of my garage. Don't waste your time and money. Just spend the extra $50 to get the ones from bimmerworld.

Needs to be Re-designed
I will update this rating depending on the outcome of my customer service/support experience. At this time, I cannot recommend this product. Although it’s marketed for ATV use, it does not withstand the realities that come with ATV riding. The snaps on the straps securing the front of the shade come undone with nearly every bump, making the shade unstable and frustrating to use. On our second trip out with it after about 3 hours of riding, the shade collapsed on me entirely. Initially, I thought the rear hooks had come loose, but to my surprise, the roof frame itself had snapped in half on both sides. I’m still unsure how this even happens. The metal completely snapped right where the roof poles bend in a U. Very odd. It forced us to remove the shade completely and carry it on the back of the quad for the rest of the ride since it was not functional anymore. Given this is only the second time we had even used it I would not recommend anyone purchase this product which is so unfortunate as living in AZ I had very high hopes for this product, as the concept is excellent, but it needs significant reinforcement to handle the rough terrain and constant movement involved in off-road riding and at this time I requesting a full refund and until this company revisits the design to make it sturdier and more reliable I will not consider purchasing again.

The brackets did not fit the range of diameters that it said it would. Is pretty doofus when you lay it down backwards. It is however, more rigid than you might think. It works for me. I like it. Of course I can change things. I like the exterior fabric and I like the vinyl undercoating. I suspect it’s going to be waterproof as well. Now that I know, I’m not going to lay it down. I’m going to order a second one for my wifes quad, which is even narrower than the minimum they call out. 39.4”.
