The AFP-25 helmet-mounted face shield from JSP offers protection for the eyes and face in the event of an arc flash. This version, AFF122-440-408, can be worn with any non-vented EVO helmet (excluding the EVO 6100 full brim).
The optics of this visor are Class 1, meaning it gives clear, undistorted views of what you are working on, which is critical when working with high-voltage electrical equipment. The full height and extra width of the visor work to deflect the energy of a blast around the face for maximum protection. UV filtering is also one of the many features of this visor, helping to prevent blindness from extreme UV light exposure during an accident.
For proper protection, this visor should ALWAYS be worn with a non-vented helmet and with associated and compatible Arc Flash-rated clothing.
