Griff! - Weighted Lanky Plushy MonsterGriff! Griff is a sweet, adorable baby who has been in the works for quite a little while. You see, there's this thing that happens, where I make a horrendous mess everywhere I go, and eventually Mom gets absolutely sick of it. I had Griff sitting in pieces on the table along with another Lanky Monster. After a week or two of this, Mom grabbed a clear tub, put them both in it, put said tub on my shelf, and told me she had done these things. I said,

Griff is a sweet, adorable baby who has been in the works for quite a little while. 😬😅 You see, there's this thing that happens, where I make a horrendous mess everywhere I go, and eventually Mom gets absolutely sick of it. 😆 I had Griff sitting in pieces on the table along with another Lanky Monster. After a week or two of this, Mom grabbed a clear tub, put them both in it, put said tub on my shelf, and told me she had done these things. I said, "Okay!" and obliviously went on with my day. You see, even though these monsters were in a clear tub, directly behind my work station, where I spend a huge part of every day, since they were not out in the open where I could see them, they effectively disappeared.😬 I have ADHD, Mom! You can't just go around putting things away all willy-nilly! 🤣 Anywho! I had a small amount of Frosty fur I'd been saving for this project because I wanted to alter the Lanky Monster pattern to look more like a Yeti. So, totally did that, Mom disappeared it, and then I found it! Eventually! And put it back on the folding table! 🤣 I had managed to get some of his pieces shaved before I got pulled in another direction. Eventually, Mom ran out of things to do and started eyeing my Yeti. And, because Mom is the boss, even though I am the boss, I let her work on it. She sewed all the different pieces together and left it for me to assemble because Lanky Monsters are hard and she was over it. Some other stuff happened, and voila! He was done! 😆 I thought he needed a splash of color, and Mom said he needed a bandana, which I cut way too big, so now he has a cape. 😬😆

Griff is super (heh) adorable. He is made from Frosty faux fur, which I shaved to show of the dark grey undercoat on his hands, feet, tummy, lip, and inner ears. He is very soft and is pretty much the sweetest baby in all the land! 🥰 Mom thought we should put a "G" on his cape, which he thought was a fantastic idea! After all, Super Grover is his hero! I ran out of time to get the embroidery done, but he's still pretty happy with his plain red cape. As with all Lanky Monsters, Griff is weighted with about a pound-and-a-half of glass beads and is stuffed with polyester fiberfill. He has two glittery, oversized, offset-pupil eyes and two tusks, one of which was chipped during superhero escapades he would not elaborate on. 😆 Griff is a super sweet guy who would love to make your home his own. 🥰
