Silicone Scraper Tools for Encaustic Wax Painting
This Encaustic Art Scrapys silicone scraper tool set includes five heat-resistant wax tools for scraping, dragging, shaping, stamping, and mark-making in molten encaustic wax.
Designed for use with encaustic hotplates, irons, hot air tools, and warmed wax surfaces, these flexible silicone tools help artists move wax with more control than a standard brush. Each tool has a different tip shape for creating lines, textures, marks, lifted areas, and layered wax effects.
The set includes two oblique round tips, two chisel tips, and one oblique chisel with a trailing tail. Use them to scrape through wax layers, drag color across a warmed surface, stamp small marks, dab texture, write into wax, or shape flowing forms while the wax is warm and workable.
Wooden handles and metal ferrules give each tool a familiar brush-like feel, while the silicone tips are easy to wipe clean after use. This set is a useful addition for adult artists, art teachers, mixed-media makers, and teens ages 14+ working with encaustic wax techniques.

⚠️ WARNING: This tool is designed for use with heated encaustic wax and is not a toy. Recommended for ages 14 years and older. Surfaces and heating elements can become extremely hot during operation. Older teens should always work under adult supervision to prevent burns from hot metal or wax. Keep out of reach of children. Adult supervision required.
Contact with molten wax or hot surfaces may result in a skin burn.
First Aid: If a burn occurs, cool the area immediately with an ice compress for 15 minutes. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention.
