This Pinot Gris is brimming with concentrated fruit aromas of yellow peach, pear and apricots, with an underlying spice aroma. A great balance between fruit sweetness and acidity, with a focused and well-balanced finish.

Vintage 2022 was an exciting classic Marlborough harvest. A warm Spring secured good fruit set throughout the region. Some challenging weather in February was balanced with clear warm days throughout harvest. The cool crisp nights and warm days in March retained vibrant acidity while allowing flavours to develop fully. The resulting wine is showing the wonderful fruit concentration, with underlying purity and minerality.

Individual parcels of Pinot Gris were harvested, the fruit was destemmed and gently pressed and left to settle in tank for 48 hours. It was then racked prior to a long, cool fermentation to capture the bright, fresh characters. The individual parcels were then blended, balanced, stabilised and filtered prior to bottling.
