Cats don’t want an open cushion. They want a roof, three walls, and a doorway they can see you from. The CampCove™ is all three — folded into something that fits your home instead of fighting it.
The CampCove™ Foldable Cat Tent & Pet House is a tent-shaped hideaway built around what cats actually choose: a roof overhead, a soft floor beneath them, and an arched entrance that reads as a den, not a gap in a basket. A flexible pole frame holds it upright, a quilted base mat lifts your cat off the floor, and a rear mesh panel keeps airflow moving even when they’re tucked in for the afternoon.
Choose from two constructions — Four Seasons felt for year-round use, or Warm plush with soft scalloped trim for cooler months. Both share the same frame, the same cushion, and the same fold-flat storage. The difference is what they feel like to curl up in.
The Four Seasons colours (Green, Pink) are a smooth felt-finish shell — lighter, breathable, well suited to year-round use and warmer homes. The Warm colours (Grey, Chestnut, Pink) are a plush velvet shell with a soft scalloped trim along the seams — heavier, cosier, better for cooler rooms or winter months. Same frame, same cushion, same sizes — different feel. Choose accordingly.

Which size is right for my cat?

If your cat is on the larger side or likes to stretch right out, choose the M. The extra 6 cm each way makes a real difference — a cat who half-fits is a cat who won’t use it.

Helping your cat claim it
Cats don’t read packaging — they test territory. Two things that work almost every time:
- Place it where your cat already chooses to sleep — not where you’d like them to sleep.
- Put a worn item of your clothing inside for the first few days. Your scent tells them it’s safe.
Common questions
Felt or plush — which should I choose?
Felt (Four Seasons Green or Pink) is lighter, breathable, and works year-round — good for warmer homes, centrally heated rooms, and summer months. Plush (Warm Grey, Chestnut, or Pink) is heavier, cosier, with a soft scalloped trim along the seams — good for cooler rooms, conservatories, or winter months. If your cat always seeks out the warmest spot, choose Warm. If they gravitate towards cool floor tiles in summer, choose Four Seasons.
Will my cat actually use it?
Most cats are drawn instinctively to enclosed spaces with a roof — it triggers the same security response as hiding under a bed or behind a sofa. The trick is placement: put it where your cat already chooses to sleep. Add a worn t-shirt of yours inside for the first few days and most cats will have claimed it within a week.
Is the cushion base included, or sold separately?
Included as standard in every colour and both sizes. No extras to buy — the quilted base mat comes with the tent.
Is there a door that zips closed?
No. The entrance is a fully open arch — cats settle faster in dens they can see out of, and a zip-closed panel defeats the point. There’s a mesh ventilation panel at the rear so airflow moves through even when they’re tucked in.
Can a small dog use it?
The Medium works as a daybed for calm small dogs up to ~7 kg — senior Shih Tzus, Cavaliers, Dachshunds, Yorkies. Not for puppies, jumpy terriers, or any dog that launches in and out — the flexible pole frame isn’t built for that kind of impact.
Will it tip over?
Under normal cat use — stepping in, turning around, settling, stretching — it holds its shape. The frame flexes under pressure rather than collapsing. Don’t place it where a larger dog could shoulder it, and don’t pin it against a wall (the frame needs to sit free).
Can it go outside?
Only under proper cover — a conservatory or a covered veranda. Not on an open patio or in a garden. The fabric is home-weight, not weatherproof, and UV exposure plus damp will fade and weaken it over time.
