This design is inspired by my Indian heritage, where peacock are symbols of beauty, prosperity, and opulence - usual part of most royal paintings and wardrobes. In other cultures peacocks signify immortality, divinity, and protection. I just love the colorful elegance that a peacock projects.

For this image, I wanted to create the love birds flaunting the beautiful feathers. The artistic interpretation of the peacock feathers to highlight the colorful plume. Sticking to blue, green, and yellow, I wanted to show the peacocks regal presence.

❤️ Artist Note

I wanted to reimagine the traditional peacock image and put more emphasis on the feathers. This starred as a rough painting in my journal and eventually evolved to this finished product - borrowing insipirition for traditional Indian art forms and giving it a more modern spin.
