Originally released in 2010 and celebrating it's 15 Year Anniversary, Nightmare, was the first Avenged Sevenfold album to not feature drummer, The Rev after his tragic passing. The album is dedicated to his memory and a reflection of death and despair. Mike Portnoy would step in to finish the recording. The fifth full-length from California metal/hard rock legends, Avenged Sevenfold, is considered one of the best hard rock/metalcore albums of all time. Blending metal, punk, and hardcore with catchy melodies and face-shredding guitar solos, the band created an original sound all their own and built a cult-following that embraced the "deathbat" - an emblem that would become synonymous with the band and their fanbase.

Certified Platinum in the US and Canada, and Gold in the UK, Nightmare, features hit songs "Nightmare" and "Welcome To The Family" - the former hitting #1 on the Active Rock chart and peaking at #51 on Hot 100 chart (the band's biggest song to date). I have an EXTREMELY destructive Boston Terrier. She loves playing with her toys, but she loves destroying them even more. "Chicken" was her Christmas present and she loved him. She did pull his eyes off right away, fortunately she didn't swallow them, but I was excited that she couldn't immediately shred him. Then she found his weak spot. She managed to grab hold of the tag and tore the seam, and now she just plays with Chicken's torn up husk. He lasted 3 days, which was longer than any other stuffed animal. I would purchase again, but I would cut the tag as short as I could before giving it to her. It was a good run, but I'm still looking for a soft you she can't destroy!

You are going to read this review and think "my dog will be different" just as I did reading some of the poor reviews. She had the trim chewed off, a wing off, the squeakers out within 15 min and I am not exaggerating. There was stuffing EVERYWHERE. Was it kind of amusing? Yes. Was I disappointed in the "chew guard" technology? Absolutely. Be warned! If your dog destroys stuffed animals this one will be no different!!
