1050D ballistic nylon. Metal cobra-style buckles where it matters. A padded top handle over the shoulders, a front-clip anti-pull D-ring, MOLLE webbing down both flanks for treats, water and poo bags. A matching padded collar and bungee lead to go with it. Built for dogs who actually do the walk — and the people who walk them.

The SniffWaggleNWalk™ Tactical Dog Harness Set is built on 1050D ballistic nylon — the same weight of fabric the military use on plate carriers and combat packs. Twice the abrasion resistance of the 600D nylon you'll find on most tactical-style harnesses at this price, and the reason this is a harness you buy once rather than every nine months.

Load-bearing metal cobra-style buckles clip over the shoulders — serious hardware that doesn't fatigue the way plastic side-release buckles do — with a single plastic quick-release on the flank for fast off when you need it. Four adjustment straps (neck, chest, both sides, belly) fine-tune the fit without slackening over a walk.

Two lead attachment points: a reinforced back D-ring for everyday walking, and a front-chest D-ring that turns your dog sideways when they pull (the reason front-clip harnesses reduce pulling — it's physics, not a training gimmick). A padded top grab handle sits over the shoulders for close-control moments: reactive flashpoints, vet doorways, kerbs, climbs over stiles.

What's in the full set

  1. Tactical harness — 1050D nylon, padded chest plate, top grab handle, front + back D-rings, MOLLE webbing on both flanks, metal cobra-style shoulder buckles, plastic quick-release on the flank, reflective stitching, mesh-backed padding.
  2. Matching padded tactical collar — heavy-duty nylon with a padded inner, metal cobra-style buckle, and a load-rated D-ring for lead attachment.
  3. Bungee lead — 120cm nylon webbing with an integrated bungee section that absorbs the jolt if your dog hits the end of the lead. Padded handle, metal swivel clip. (Softens a pull — doesn't train it out. See the honest note below.)
  4. Small MOLLE utility pouch — the treats-and-poo-bags pouch. Clips to either flank of the harness.
  5. Narrow MOLLE pouch — ideal for a folded water bottle, a torch, or a spare collapsible bowl.
  6. Larger MOLLE tool/first-aid bag — zipped compartment with its own carry handle. Use as an attached harness pouch or clip it off for a day-bag.

Prefer just the harness? Use the variant selector above — harness-only ships without the collar, lead or pouches.

Why 1050D matters.
Denier (the "D" number) is the weight of the nylon thread. Cheap tactical-style harnesses use 600D — fine for a show dog who walks on pavement. Working and high-drive dogs tear through 600D in a year. 1050D is roughly twice as abrasion-resistant, which matters the moment your dog decides to squeeze through a hedge, roll in a stream, or pull you up a stile. Pair it with metal cobra-style shoulder buckles and you've got the two components that actually fail first on cheaper harnesses.

Who it's built for

  • High-drive breeds who need real engagement on a walk — Malinois, GSDs, Huskies, Dutchies, working-line Labs, Springers, Dobermans, Ridgebacks.
  • Reactive or nervous dogs whose owners want the top handle for close-control moments and a padded collar that won't choke on a lunge.
  • Outdoorsy owners who want to carry treats, bags, and a water flask on the harness rather than bulging out of their jacket pockets — hike, trail run, beach, long dusk walks.
  • Training club regulars doing obedience, IGP, gundog or scentwork — a harness that carries their kit and stays on for the session.

Honest note on "working dogs": this is a well-made pet-grade tactical setup. Professional K9 handlers and serious bitework sport buy from Julius-K9, Ray Allen or Ruffwear. We don't publish pull-test certification numbers and we won't pretend to.

Size guide

Measure your dog at the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, with a soft tape. If you're between sizes, size up — the four adjustment sliders bring the harness in, they don't let it out.

Size Forebreast Chest girth Typical breeds
S 40–68 cm 62–84 cm Cocker Spaniel, Beagle, Border Terrier, medium Frenchie, Whippet, Mini Schnauzer
M 62–80 cm 77–99 cm Springer, Border Collie, Vizsla, Staffy, Cockapoo, smaller Labrador, Standard Poodle
L 68–105 cm 87–115 cm Labrador, Golden Retriever, GSD, Malinois, Dobermann, Boxer, Husky, Ridgeback
XL 74–112 cm 93–122 cm Rottweiler, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Cane Corso, Bernese, large Mastiff-cross, heavier GSD

Between sizes on chest girth? Go up a size. The forebreast and chest ranges overlap slightly between adjacent sizes — that's because the straps are adjustable; pick on chest girth first, then fine-tune the forebreast with the neck strap on delivery.

Colours

Four colourways: Brown / Coyote Tan, Black, Camo, and Green. Choose from the variant selector at the top of the page. All four colourways ship the same set, all in 1050D nylon, all with metal cobra-style shoulder buckles.

How it goes on (90 seconds, once you've done it twice)

  1. Unclip both cobra shoulder buckles and the flank quick-release, lay the harness flat.
  2. Stand behind your dog, slide the chest plate up between the front legs so it sits flat against the chest.
  3. Bring both side straps up, clip both cobra buckles over the shoulders, click the flank quick-release.
  4. Adjust the four webbing sliders — chest, belly, and both shoulder straps — so you can slide two flat fingers under the strap, no more, no less.
  5. Clip the bungee lead to the front-chest D-ring for training walks, or the back D-ring for everyday walks.
  6. Clip the matching collar on for close-work situations or for a lead handover without removing the harness.
About the bungee lead — what it does, and what it doesn't.
The integrated bungee section softens the jolt on your shoulder (and your dog's chest) when they hit the end of the lead. That's its job. It is not an anti-pull training tool — for that, use the front-chest D-ring with your normal lead, or pair with loose-lead training. Anyone selling you a bungee lead as a "no-pull solution" is overselling it.

The MOLLE webbing, in plain English

MOLLE (said "molly") is the ladder of stitched webbing rows you can see on both flanks of the harness. It's the same system the military use on plate carriers, and it means any off-the-shelf MOLLE or PALS-compatible pouch will clip on. Three pouches come with the full set: a small utility pouch for treats and poo bags, a narrow pouch for a folded water bottle or torch, and a larger zipped bag for a first-aid kit or tools. Add more later if you need them. It's the reason you'll stop carrying a bum-bag on walks.

Dispatch & delivery

We ship through a trusted fulfilment partner, which keeps the price honest and the harness in the premium spec it deserves. Delivery to UK addresses typically takes 6–10 working days from order. You'll get a tracking link once the parcel is on the move (usually within 24–48 hours of ordering).

Planning for a birthday, holiday or training-class start date? Order with a fortnight to spare and you'll be comfortable.

Care

  • Hand wash in cool water with mild soap, air dry out of direct sun.
  • Remove pouches before washing the harness.
  • Don't machine wash — the metal buckles and 1050D webbing will shorten the life of the drum, and the drum will shorten the life of the harness.
  • Rinse after beach or saltwater walks — salt degrades webbing and metal hardware faster than anything else.

Questions answered

Will it hold a 40kg dog who pulls?

Yes. The 1050D nylon and the cobra-style metal shoulder buckles are the two reasons we can say that with a straight face — both are built for significantly more force than a 40kg puller can generate. If your dog is a committed puller, clip to the front-chest D-ring (it turns them sideways and makes pulling stop paying off) and pair with a bit of loose-lead practice. The back D-ring is fine for a dog who walks mostly on a loose lead.

Do I need the full set, or just the harness?

Most customers take the full set — the collar and pouches are the bits people don't know they want until they have them. If you already have a lead you love and zero interest in MOLLE pouches, the harness-only variant is there for you. The harness is identical either way.

Is this a no-pull harness?

Honest answer: front-clip harnesses (clipping the lead to the chest D-ring, which this one has) reduce pulling by changing the mechanics — the dog gets turned sideways rather than rewarded by forward movement. That's real, and it works. It isn't magic, and it isn't a substitute for five minutes of loose-lead practice a day. Anyone marketing a harness as "stops pulling instantly" is lying.

What's 1050D nylon, and why does it matter?

Denier ("D") is the weight of the nylon thread. Most cheap tactical harnesses use 600D — fine for a pavement walk, wears through in a year on a working dog. 1050D is roughly twice as abrasion-resistant, which is the difference between this harness lasting three years on an active dog and being replaced every twelve months.

My dog is between sizes — which way do I go?

Size up. The four adjustment sliders bring the harness in comfortably; they don't give you extra inches the other way. Sizing up also leaves room if your dog's coat is going to blow in for winter.

Which colour for which dog?

Preference more than anything else. Black is the classic, disappears on a dark-coated dog, doesn't show mud. Brown / Coyote Tan suits golden, tan and fawn coats beautifully and hides light mud. Camo is the one everyone asks about — works on any coat colour, looks the part, shows dirt more than you'd think. Green is our sleeper favourite — ranger-green, looks sharp on black, sable and liver coats.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes — 14 days from delivery, harness unworn and pouches unopened. If you're unsure on size, try it on indoors first before a walk so the fabric stays clean for a return. Message us before sending anything back and we'll sort the return address and process.

How long will delivery take?

6–10 working days to most UK addresses. You'll get a tracking link once the parcel is dispatched — usually within 24–48 hours of ordering. Planning for a specific date (birthday, training class, holiday)? Order with a fortnight's headroom.

1050D nylon. Metal buckles where it matters. A handle over the shoulders. Pouches where your pockets used to be. The setup for the walks your dog actually takes you on.

Great duvet insert at a budget price
Size: Queen, Color: White
I'm new to using a duvet so I had no idea where to even start when it came to a duvet insert. I decided on this one and what a great decision that was. This duvet insert is perfect and fit my queen size cover perfectly. It did arrive vacuum sealed but once you cut it open it quickly regained its shape. I did throw it in the dryer for 10mins with no heat and that seemed to help add an extra layer of fluffiness but I do not think that is necessary for everyone. This duvet insert is perfect for all year around because it is not heavy, so it will keep you warm without getting too hot in the summer. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and I would highly recommend. Also, it is washable which is such a plus!

Great buy
Size: Twin, Color: White
Pros: 1) Has held up well in the washer/dryer 2) lowest price I could find for down alternative comforters without a high return rate 3) My fur kids adore this brand vs similar big box store brands, especially my finicky cats. 4) Very soft Cons: None that I have experienced. I started searching and found Utopia after Target decided to raise the price on their down alternative comforters. This comforter is a light weight style that holds its own on laundry day, and isn't too heavy in our warm climate. It is great for a multi species household. Team Double Trouble loves it on their raised dog bed (amazon brand), Team Murder Mittens love it on their kitty city condos (available here on amazon) to sunbathe or bird watch, and I like it too as a hot sleeper. It really is a perfect all purpose comforter. 10/10 would buy again.

Pleasant surprise, warm and fluffy
Size: Queen, Color: White, Size: Queen, Color: White
For the past couple years my girlfriend and I have gone through a few cheap comforters. We never really gave much thought to them and subsequently they never impressed us. I grew up using a down comforter and have very fond memories of that blanket. The comfort and warmth was something that I hadn't experienced since I had moved out and gotten my own comforter. So this has been in the back of my mind ever since but I wasn't sure if I wanted to dish out that kind of money for a blanket and also deal with the hassle of dry cleaning it. Also by purchasing a down blanket we'd be supporting an industry in which the down feathers from geese are taken from them and that's not something we personally wanted to support. So for all those reason we started looking into down alternative. The first thing that made me question these products was the price, they seem TOO cheap. I was raised with the mantra, "you get what you pay for" and with that in mind I was quite weary when looking at these products. I always make sure to compare many different products and read through the reviews, both good and bad before I buy something. I decided to take a chance on this particular one as it seemed to be the highest rated by customers and I liked what I saw in the images provided by said customer. If anything, the price was low enough that I wasn't too worried if I didn't end up liking it. Now I wasn't actually home when it arrived but my girlfriend confirmed that it was very flat right out of the package, as was expected. By the time I got home 2-3 hours later it appeared to be fully fluffed. The material it is made of is very soft and comfortable on your skin and I was pleasantly surprised with the thickness/fluffyness. It is a fairly light blanket, similar to a down blanket I suppose in that regard. So far I have only slept with it one night but it did a great job of keeping me warm. I live in Wisconsin and the temperatures this week have been ranging from -10 over night to single digits during the day. I had been using 2 blankets prior to getting this one and sometimes I would still wake up in the night feeling cold. But so far with this blanket alone I have stayed warm which again was a pleasant surprise. I do have to say that this doesn't remind me a whole lot of my down blanket and I think that may have to do with the material used in the shell. And you're not going to be 100% able to recreate a down blanket not using down. So if you are looking for something that feels exactly like down and won't be satisfied otherwise, this might not be for you. However, if you are looking for a good quality, warm, fluffy and affordable priced blanket that will give you that "cloud" like feeling, I think you would be really happy with this blanket. Again this is my opinion from using it for one night, I can not comment on the durability or longevity of this blanket, but I am hoping that it holds up over time. **also our cats immediately fell in love with it, it is their new favorite spot to nap.

High quality duvet!
Size: Twin XL, Color: White, Size: Twin XL, Color: White
Extremely comfortable, soft, and thick duvet! It is also very light despite its thickness, and it makes all my comforters look super fluffy. It keeps me warm without making me sweat. It’s easy to wash, high quality, and it has 3 loops on all 4 sides of the comforter. You could also use this duvet by itself if you wanted to since it is so comfortable and looks like a white comforter on its own. Absolutely love this duvet and do recommend! (I will add another photo of the duvet by itself when I take the duvet cover off to wash it)
