Naida Lumity breaks down the barriers for power wearers by providing the very latest in direct connectivity for AudioStreaming. As they use Bluetooth Classic they are compatible with most bluetooth devices including mobile phones (Android & Apple iPhone), Tablets, Computers and Apply TV. This mean you can wireless stream the audio from you favourite devices directly through your Naida Lumity hearing aids at your own preferred volume level irrespective of the volume coming from the speakers of the device. For example you can stream a live Video chat from your laptop computer directly through your hearing aids and even have the volume turned right down on the laptop so as not to disturb others around you.

StereoZoom 2.0

In challenging listening environments with quite a high level of competing noise StereoZoom 2.0 can activate which is part of the Speech in  Loud Noise AutoSense Mode. This is the super-directional beam forming function that substantially reduces the invasive surrounding noise whilst maintaining the clarity of the speech signal from the talker you are facing. If another person spontaneously speaks off to an angle that StereoZoom 2.0 instantaneously opens up to also allow the speech stream from the neighbouring speaker to be heard too.  This is supported by Speech Sensor as described below.

Speech Sensor

Speech Sensor is a brand new feature in Phonak Naida Lumity hearing aids that’s designed to detect speech from other directions other than just the front and preserves those speech signals so the hearing aid wearer can switch attention when desired to other speech signals around them. Phonak’s research show that around 80% of the speech is naturally from the front during social outings. With the remaining 20% being from the sides and behind it is important to be able to hear these speech signals too.
