This stylish Zuuk Spot was designed by Munich designer Ingo Maurer for his eponymous label.

Ingo Maurer began designing lamps and lighting systems in the 1960s and today these are distributed worldwide. Over the last four decades, the label and its team have grown in size considerably and are now a group of over sixty designers. In 2005, the company moved the manufacturing plant to a larger premises on the outskirts of Munich, turning their former plant into a dedicated showroom. Today, the team focuses on artistic lights to create interesting and pleasant working and living spaces. In addition to selling regular products, the Maurer design house takes on commissioned jobs for lighting and acts as an interior lighting advisor.

The Zuuk Spot is made from stainless steel as well as anodised aluminium and heat-proof glass. Its shade is a lovely elongated conical shape with subtle colouring. Ideal for lobbys and hallways, the lamp comes with a surface mount, an anodised 0.8cm washer and a halogen bulb. The Zuuk Spot is an anti-glare light that casts both direct and indirect illuminance to create a really intriguing interior effect.
