By using a combination of Samsung LM301H, 660nm, IR and UV LEDs, Sunplus has created a quantum LED board that can collectively produce the full-spectrum white light that is essential for plant photosynthesis, vegetation growth, and the flowering of plants indoors. They’re optimized to give off more blue (cool, stimulates foliage and root growth) and red (warm, stimulates flowering) light, which are the ends of the light spectrum that most plants utilize during the growth cycle.

These LED lights are also energy-efficient, consuming less electricity and giving off less heat than other lights. This means they’re better suited to meet the needs of plants grown indoors, are better for the environment, and will help save you money in the long term. The Sunplus Canastar 480W is powered by a Mean Well Driver power supply and the lights are kept passively cooled by an aluminium heatsink.
