The projects increase in complexity from simple bowl turning to incorporating decorative techniques such as airbrushing, resin, brass wire inlays and pewter rims. Richard shares how he tackled each challenge from start to finish, including the struggles as well as the successes. His stories will inspire novice and experienced turners alike.
Richard Findley is a full-time production turner specializing in small-batch work, one-off commissions and turning for furniture and restoration. Richard comes from a long line of woodworkers, going back at least five generations, and has been involved in the craft of woodworking since the age of 16. Richard is also a member of the Register of Professional Turners and is supported by The Worshipful Company of Turners. In 2006, Richard set up The Turner’s Workshop and in 2008 relocated to Leicestershire, where he has been based ever since.

Luxe and cozy

Wrapped in luxury

I went through a lot of faux fur throws and blankets to find this gem. It’s double sided fur and very warm and cozy. My only gripe is that it’s not wider but it measures true to its size. It’s super soft and fluffy. Would highly recommend this blanket as you’ll be wrapped in luxury.
