The PeeWee EcoBasic is a basic litter tray suitable for Peewee Cat Litter. This open style litter tray is made out of environmentally friendly Polypropylene Plastic that is easy to clean and hygienic. For best results, use the PeeWee EcoBasic in conjunction with PeeWee wood pellets. PeeWee is a double tray system for easy disposal of waste and sawdusts.

When the cat urinates onto PeeWee wood pellets in a PeeWee litter tray, 90% of the urine will disappear through the holes of the top tray into the bottom tray. The rest of the urine is absorbed and the compressed sawdust disintegrates. As the cat scratches, this loose sawdust then falls through the holes of the top tray into the bottom tray.

As a result, the remaining wood pellets in the top tray stay clean and dry. As do the cat’s paws and your home. All you need to dispose of is the soiled sawdust in the bottom tray. If faeces are removed regularly, using the special PeeWee scoop (sold separately), you will be left with nothing but the sweet smell of pine. As the PeeWee litter tray only requires just a 2 cm layer of wood pellets, which need changing less frequently than other cat litter, a 9kg bag of PeeWee wood pellets can last a cat owner up to four months for a single cat.

The PeeWee system makes cleaning the litter tray environmentally friendly and, more importantly, puts an end to those unpleasant, pollutant and sometimes even harmful clouds of dust.

The PeeWee Litter Scoop is specially designed to remove cat poop with the least possible wastage of pellets from the litter tray.

PeeWee wood pellets are 100% natural and biodegradable with 82% reduction in bacteria. The pellets are made from the sawdust of carefully sourced Swedish trees. The sawdust of these trees is highly absorbent and has a natural ability to neutralise the smell of ammonia. Unlike other wood pellets, our pellets contain no leaves or bark. Indeed, nothing at all is added during the production process; no scents, glues, binding agents or other chemical nasties. The sawdust is simply compressed under very high pressure. This also prevents the pellets from rotting or freezing.

Most other cat litter pellets are made of non-biodegradable clay. The dust released from the clay (when filling the tray, for instance) can be harmful to health. Consequently, such pellets are not only harmful to the environment but also to humans and animals.
