Reproduction of No Limits by Kellie Day
Kellie Day — "No Limits" is a compelling example of contemporary landscape painting that synthesizes expressive gesture with a modern, almost graphic sensibility. The work aligns with the tradition of painterly abstraction, particularly in its use of thick, impasto textures and a dynamic, non-representational rendering of the mountain peak. While the subject is clearly a mountain range, the artist prioritizes emotional impact over topographical accuracy, employing a vibrant, cool-toned palette that emphasizes the cold, high-altitude environment. The composition is structured around a powerful, asymmetrical balance, with the central peak commanding attention while the surrounding peaks and snowfields create a sense of depth and scale. The use of layered, fragmented textures suggests the complex geological history of the mountains, while the expansive blue sky provides a sense of infinite possibility. This work can be situated within the broader context of late 20th and early 21st-century art that seeks to capture the sublime in nature, often through a lens of personal expression and modern materials. Its interpretive significance lies in its ability to transform a natural landscape into a powerful metaphor for human aspiration and the enduring spirit of exploration, making it visually and conceptually compelling. For more art by Kellie Day click here.

Absolute Slop
Format: Paperback
This is likely the worst Star Wars graphic novel/story in the history of the medium.
Absolute slop.

Better Than The Sequel Trilogy
Format: Kindle
This comic story really helps in the effort to fix the newest movie trilogy. The comic is stellar.

A must read for Kylo fans
Format: Kindle
I'm so sad this was only about 100 pages. This gave clarity to the choppy movie origin story of Kylo Ren while filling some major movie plot holes. Angsty, heart wrenching and dark -- the perfect intro for our favorite emo space boy. The art style was really great without being too gory. Adam Driver fans will also be pretty pleased with the likeness (it's not exact, but still good).

Really good read, and leaves questions
Format: Paperback
Nice to see the Ben Solo story flushed out more than what was shown in The Last Jedi and The Rise Of Skywalker. A good job also of not explaining everything. Ben mentions something about what Skywalker did to Snoke, and then there's the Emperor himself speaking to Ben in his mind, which makes one wonder, if even the Emperor was his own voice in Ben's head, why didn't Kylo recognize him in The Rise Of Skywalker. Plenty of things left to really expand upon this very good story.

Awesome
Format: Paperback
Like most of the canon comics this one has excellent art and a compelling story. I just wish it was 2-4 issues longer!
