INTRODUCTION:

Welcome to the Gather & Analyse Information About Children’s Learning to Inform Practice course. This course only includes a challenge assessment designed to assess your knowledge and skills required to demonstrate competence in gathering, documenting, analysing, sharing, and using information about children’s learning and development to inform curriculum planning, strengthen collaboration with families, support the curriculum planning cycle, and improve pedagogical practice in line with approved learning frameworks, confidentiality requirements, and ethical responsibilities.

Gathering and analysing information about children’s learning to inform practice involves observing, documenting, interpreting, and using evidence of children’s development, interests, participation, and progress to guide responsive teaching and curriculum decisions. In real workplace practice, this requires workers to use a range of information-gathering methods and tools, include the perspectives of children, families, and other stakeholders, analyse information through approved learning frameworks, developmental domains, and child development theory, and apply that analysis to planning, implementation, review, and reflection. This is important because thoughtful and well-organised information gathering helps educators recognise each child’s strengths, needs, and learning opportunities, support continuity of learning, strengthen family engagement, and improve the quality of educational practice.

The course assessment focuses on your ability to gather and document detailed information using methods and tools suited to each child, include the perspectives of children, families, and other stakeholders, use inclusive and respectful practices, analyse information in the context of the approved learning framework, developmental domains, and child development theory, use summative assessment processes, develop a process for regular information gathering within the planning cycle, use analysed information to inform curriculum planning, understand and apply all stages of the curriculum planning cycle, use a wide range of information-gathering strategies and tools, identify strengths, interests, needs, current learning, future opportunities, and support needs, collaborate with families, provide documentation in meaningful ways, manage information according to confidentiality and ethical requirements, and critically reflect on your own practices to improve pedagogy and collaborative practice.

By successfully completing this course assessment, you will have demonstrated that you can gather and analyse information about children’s learning to inform practice by using a range of appropriate documentation methods, interpreting information thoughtfully, applying it within the curriculum planning cycle, collaborating effectively with families and others, managing information ethically, and reflecting on your practice to strengthen children’s learning outcomes and the quality of educational decision-making.

The orange and blue ball is perfect. Once start taken because the because the blue noisy one was a little to easy for my dog to start ripping pieces off. Will say most toys do not survive his chewing.

Aggressive chewer who loves fetch approved!!
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
I highly recommend the Chuck-It brand in general, especially for dogs with an aggressive bite. These balls are awesome and are the most durable balls I’ve bought for my 50 lbs lab mix. He has not been able to break one of them yet and we’ve had a few of the squeaky balls for months. They are a bit pricey but worth it. The one in the pic has been used for months, lives outside and you can see it’s still in great shape.

Good quality dog ball for playing fetch
Size: Medium
My dog and family love these chuck it balls to play fetch with our dog. They are durable and fun. They squeak which is added fun for any dog! Regular tennis balls my dog chews apart and they get pretty gross after playing and being left outside. These can be easily washed off and cleaned. These balls last! Would recommend to anyone with a dog and would purchase again.
