You can't turn back the clock but you can feel like you've taken a step into the past every time you see this incredible, mid century mantel clock! Measuring approx. 16" x 3" x 10", this functional clock can sit atop your mantel, desk or shelf. Once plugged in, the clock hands begin moving and the light behind the clock face illuminates the area. There is a knob on the side to turn it on or off. There is a soft mechanical sound when plugged in, but we suspect that may be due to being unused for an extended time. The sound may or may not go away after more regular use. But regardless, this is a timeless piece! Even when it is turned off, the aesthetic is retro and classic, despite some rusting on the metal. On either side of the clock face you will see a small square box. The box is bottomless but could fit a small container, small pot with plants, pen holder, etc. Origin date unknown, est. 1960s.
