Lost Lantern hand-selected this cask from Oak & Grist Distillery in Black Mountain, NC. One of the only grain-to-glass distilleries in the south, Oak & Grist makes American Single Malt from locally grown and malted barley grown within 60 miles of the distillery. Their genevers and whiskies marry European distilling traditions with the spirit of the Appalachians. 

This American single malt whiskey was made from 100% North Carolina-grown malted barley and was aged for 3 years in a 53-gallon ex-bourbon cask. Elegant yet powerful, it has notes of lemon meringue, honeysuckle, and autumn grass on the nose. The grassy, zesty palate has notes of lemons, apricots, and nectarines.
