With continuous advancements in valve train technology, engine builders and performance enthusiasts alike are witnessing more aggressive cam profiles, higher valve spring pressures and higher engine rpm. Far too often, Hydraulic lifters get caught in the middle of these competitive valve train innovations. That's why engineers at COMP Cams developed the Short Travel Race Hydraulic Roller Lifters using a patent-pending design to maximize the performance of Hydraulic Roller lifters at higher engine speeds. When performance engines are equipped with Hydraulic lifters, high rpm is limited by the incorrect position of the lifter's internal piston, as the lifter inevitably ?pumps up?. This improper location results in open valves and therefore leads to lost power or sometimes even engine failure. The COMP Cams Short Travel Race Hydraulic Roller Lifters limit that internal movement to a minimum, which cuts down on these issues and allows higher engine rpm. The surface of this newly-designed lifter is REM-finished and then black oxided to significantly reduce surface friction, wear and lubrication temperatures. This creates not only a high performance component but an attractive one as well. Fit and comfort
Size: 12, Color: Ch British Tan/Ivory
These have to rate as equal to any shoes I've ever owned. I know everyone's foot is shaped differently but when I slipped my feet into these I was immediately sure I had made the correct choice. Sizing is true.
You note, I'm sure, that these are slip-on shoes. My experience with slip-ons has been mixed as sometimes the heel tends to slip due to the maker leaving room for the slip-on function to take place. When I got these I discovered that the opening for my feet was so tight I needed to shoe-horn them in and it wasn't particularly easy. The heel counter was "high and tight" but once I got my feet in the shoes it was heaven. Then, after a couple of days wearing them I can now slip my feet into these slip-ons with ease and the shoes grip my feet like a lace-up shoe can do.
I have one other pair of Cole Haans in the same size 12. They are also a wonderful fit for me.
I highly recommend.
